Hallie's First Day of Preschool

The girls have been getting up at 6am all summer and now this past weekend decided that sleeping in until 8:45 is much better! That would be fine except for the fact that Hallie has to be at preschool by 8:30. Wednesday morning was a little crazy and was a bit of a change from having all of us dressed, fed and waiting outside Walmart at 7:55 for it to open. I had to wake both the girls up at 7:45 to get them ready.

Hallie went in to her class with no problem at all. Raya fussed as she didn't want to leave without Hallie. I went and did some shopping and visiting while Chris watched Hallie from his office on the "online security web cam". We have a password and are able to watch her while she is there. It is quite neat.

Her class is 3 hours long and she did say "it took you a long time to come back and get me Mom". She hasn't been left for that length of time before but I'm sure she will get used to it really soon.

Oh our babies are growing up! Hal looks so cute all ready for school. Nate's class is only 2hrs and 15 mins and that felt long for me! I am sure it won't feel long very soon as the busyness of life keeps increasing.

Oh my goodness, when I first read your blog, I got mixed up and thought that you were saying that you left Raya home alone while Chris watched her from his webcam...I was a little shocked, until I read it again and realized that it was HALLIE, not Raya that he watched! Of which, that is really cool - that's just something the school offers?? I still can't get over how old (and cute!) Hallie looks. She is growing up too fast!!

I actually remember your first day of kindergarten and Jesse was upset, whereas Quincy and Cheremi were smiling!
